Wonderlic Cognitive Ability Practice Test – Prep, Questions & Study Guide

The understanding that incorrect answers do not change scores on the Wonderlic Test stems from the test's scoring methodology, which does not employ a penalty for wrong answers. In this format, test-takers can answer as many questions as they can without the risk of losing points for incorrect responses. This scoring approach encourages test-takers to attempt every question rather than leave any unanswered, facilitating a genuine assessment of their cognitive abilities. As a result, the score reflects only the number of correct answers, providing a straightforward measure of performance without the complications of penalties for mistakes. This clarity allows individuals to engage with the test confidently, knowing that incorrect answers will not detract from their overall score.
